Connect a pump.fun account

You only need a pump.fun account to roll a hero — betting on the arena works with any Solana wallet. Two ways to get a pump.fun account:

1. Already trade on pump.fun? If your Phantom (or any Solana wallet) is already linked to pump.fun, you're set — just hit Connect.
2. New to pump.fun? Go to pump.fun, connect your wallet, sign the message, and pick a username. Then come back and connect.
3. Using the pump.fun app's built-in wallet? Export its private key from the app's Settings, import it into Phantom, then connect.

Only the export route (step 3) touches a private key — never share it. PUMP.RPG never sees it; you connect with your own wallet.

How arena betting works

It's pari-mutuel — you bet against other players, not the house. Every bet on a fight goes into one shared pool.

1. Deposit SOL once into your balance — withdraw anytime, no fee to hold it.
2. Back a fighter before the round locks (min 0.1 SOL). Bet on as many as you like.
3. If your fighter wins, you split the whole pool with everyone else who backed it — in proportion to your stake.

The odds shift live as people bet: the more SOL sitting on the other fighters, the bigger your payout. A 10% fee comes off the pool (5% to the winning hero's owner, 5% buys back $PUMPRPG) — winners always split the other 90%.

Nobody backed the actual winner? The highest-placed fighter that was backed pays out instead. If only one fighter got any bets all round, everyone's refunded.
